     What started as a hobby slowly turned into a passion for mixing music and crossing genres.  Much of Djay Mikey's push and drive is inspired by the sounds he grew up listening to as a young boy.  Growing up and listening to the likes of Luther Vandross, GAP Band, Prince and Janet Jackson to name a few, were definitely an influence; yet as he grew older his taste in music began to evolve and branched out to many genres from Hip-Hop to EDM to even a little bit of country.
